Flexible Ceanothus (Ceanothus ×flexilis McMinn)

Also classified as Ceanothus flexilis McMinn.

BONAP has merged this species into trailing buckbrush (Ceanothus connivens) (both species are frequently thought to be of hybrid origin), but most other authorities, including USDA, POWO, and Calflora, still considers them separate, so we have kept them separate.
