Hepatica (Hepatica nobilis Schreb.)
BONAP treats two populations, which they call Hepatica nobilis var. acuta, and Hepatica nobilis var. obtusa as one species under this name. POWO has not only split these into separate species, but also split out Eurasian populations, and under their treatment, Hepatica nobilis only refers to Eurasian populations, which are not known to occur anywhere in the wild in North America. We have not yet reviewed these changes.
