This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species is widely cultivated in gardens. Neither this species nor any cyclamen are reported as established in the wild on the USDA PLANTS or BONAP's maps, but we found numerous herbarium records, most observed within the past 10 years or so, that appear to be wild plants that probably originated as garden escapes. Although POWO reports it only in Oregon, we also found records in Washington and on Vancouver Island in Canada.
