Royal Sandmat (Euphorbia dioeca Kunth)
Also classified as Chamaesyce dioeca (Kunth) Millsp., Chamaesyce dioica (Kunth) Millsp. ("Corrected" spelling), Euphorbia dioica ("Corrected" spelling).
Because the original source published the epithet with the misspelling "dioeca", this name has been standardized and accepted by POWO and a number of other sources. But many sources correct it to the more standard "dioica" even though this does not follow the conventions of scientific naming. As such one must search for both spellings.

This tentative map is based on our own research. It may have limited data on Canada and/or Mexico, and there is some subjectivity in our assignment of plants as introduced vs. expanded. Read more in this blog post.
Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is primarily native to Mexico and southward; we have yet to build this portion of its map.
