Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
We mark the Massachussets and Tennessee populations as Expanded because they are only separated from the native range by small gaps not much larger than exist in the plant's native range. This species is also native to Canada and Mexico; we have yet to build these portions of its map.
