This tentative map is based on our own research. It may have limited data on Canada and/or Mexico, and there is some subjectivity in our assignment of plants as introduced vs. expanded. Read more in this blog post.

There are several new populations of this species beyond its native range, and we made some arbitrary judgment calls based on proximity to the native range, marking the Arkansas populations Expanded due to their proximity to native populations in TX and LA, whereas the others were separated from the native range by longer distance so we marked them Introduced. This species is also native to Mexico, but we have yet to build this portion of its map.
