Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
If this is treated as a legitimate taxon (POWO disputes this) this species is also found in Canada; our map only shows the continental US.

POWO has merged this into doubtful knight's-spur (Consolida ajacis), which they renamed to its original name Delphinium ajacis L.. We have not yet investigated and implemented this merge.
