Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is native to Mexico but has been introduced to Florida discontiguously with its native range; we have yet to build the portion of its map in Mexico.
↑Notes
The common name for this species references its former scientific genus, which is misleading as it has been reclassified out of that genus; however we have not found any other common names in use so we reluctantly must use it for now.
