This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
BONAP shows this species as native to New Haven County, CT, but it does not appear on the Vascular Plants of CT Checklist nor is it listed in POWO. The Maryland population is agreed-upon to be an introduction and is sufficiently isolated from the native range that we did not consider marking it Expanded. BONAP and FSUS both list the Maryland population but MBP does not. For now it is reflected on our map but we have not verified that it actually is found there.
