Black Spikerush (Eleocharis nigrescens (Nees) Steud.)
There is a discrepancy in the naming authority cited by POWO and USDA/BONAP. We have not yet determined whether or not these sources are referring to the same taxon, as there is also a discrepancy in the reported range and where this plant is considered native. For now we have stuck with BONAP's treatment but we link to POWO's record.
