This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

Although none of USDA PLANTS, BONAP, or POWO list this species as ocurring in Idaho, we found numerous herbarium records and articles referencing a disjunct population of this species inland, in the western regions of the Rockies where the climate resembles the coastal mountains, mostly in Idaho but also with one record in British Columbia. Because we saw no signs or explanation of any authorities rejecting these records, we have included these regions in our map.
