Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is native to a limited range in Central Mexico, and also much of South America; the range in Mexico is separated from the introduced range in the US by a large distance; we have yet to build the portion of the range map in Mexico.
