Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
↑Notes
Different sources alternately refer to this species as being endemic to the Channel Islands, and alternately, having a range extending onto the mainland and also into Mexico. We have not been able to explain these discrepancies. In particular we do not know whether this is a result of reclassification of mainland populations into this taxon, discovery of new populations, or introduction of this plant into new areas.
