Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is native to Mexico but has expanded its range northward into the US; it is a weedy plant that spreads largely on its own. We do not know the exact extent of its native range and have yet to build the portion of its map in Mexico.
