We found some disagreement as to where this species is native vs. introduced; POWO reports it introduced in AL and not found in FL, MS, or UT. We marked the easternmost populations Expanded because they probably originated as garden escapes but are relatively near the native range; the FL and AL Plant Atlases both report it as non-native in these states.
