This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species has been reported in Arkansas and some sources treat it as introduced there, but BONAP and FSUS do not accept that record, so it may have been a cultivated plant that did not establish in the wild. FNA and FSUS both treat the MS population as possibly introduced, and FNA considers the OK populations as such too, but FSUS considers those native. For now we have defered to FSUS's treatment.
