Sea-Daffodil (Pancratium maritimum L.)

Also known as spider lily; also classified as Hymenocallis caroliniana (L.) Herb., Hymenocallis maritima (L.) M.Roem.

POWO reports this species as introduced only in Illinois and Tennessee whereas BONAP reports it as introduced only in California. This could possibly reflect differences in taxonomic treatments, but we have not yet investigated these discrepancies; for now we use BONAP's map but link to POWO's record for this same name, which may or may not refer to the same taxon.
