Brunswickgrass (Paspalum lepton Schult.)
Also classified as Paspalum nicorae Parodi.
Page contents
↑Uses
This species was introduced into North America as a pasture grass and for erosion control, but it has become an unwanted or weedy plant in pastures; because it is relatively less palatable to most livestock when mature, it tends to replace other grasses over time, and this process is faster in overgrazed pastures.
For these reasons we recommend avoiding planting this species.
