This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species is primarily native to Europe. VASCAN also reports it as once occurring in Nova Scotia, but extirpated from there. We found a mention of a record at UCCB in Flora of Nova Scotia, but we could not find the specific location of this record and/or verify it.
