Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is native to the southwestern US and Mexico, but has appeared at isolated sites in the southeast. We mark these populations introduced because they are isolated and separated from the native range by considerable distances, larger than the gaps in this plant's native range. It is not known whether or not it has persisted on these sites; if it does it is probably very rare. We have yet to build the portion of the map in Mexico.
