This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
We have completed this map to the best of our ability, but the data is sparse and many of the records have dubious or missing location information. A lot of the records in the Arctic only report locations relative to broad features such as a specific island, which does not necessarily correspond to our ecoregions, which tend to be split across multiple islands but not usually fully containing most of them. We mark the Vancouver records extirpated as this plant has not been reported there in decades, and it is near a populated area where it is less likely for this species to go undetected. But we have not seen any claims that this species either was or was not extirpated from there.
