This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
In North America, this species is native only to a few islands along the northern coastline on the Gulf of St. Lawrence, south and slightly west of Pakuashipi, QC. Some sources report it as also native to Labrador, but according to VASCAN, these records are in error. It occurs primarily in Greenland and eastward, outside the scope of our site.
