Introduced

This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species is native to Europe and Western Asia, and has been introduced only in Ontario in the Eastern Great Lakes Lowland. It has been found at a variety of locations throughout this region, roughly from Ottawa southwest to Cambridge, but has been observed from 1995 to the present and may be under-reported because it closely resembles a number of other plants and people may not know to check against it.
