Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This plant is sometimes grown in gardens and can escape cultivation. In most cases, it does not persist in the wild, but it can survive in both disturbed and intact wild areas; there are spotted populations established slightly outside its native range, which we mark as expanded because they tend to be closer to its native range.
