This plant belongs to a group of plants where there is both considerable taxonomic uncertainty, and uncertainty about the original native range. We derived this map from BONAP's map, but it is best taken with a grain of salt; BONAP marks the Arkansas reports dubious. POWO lumps this species in with other taxa and reports a much larger native range for the total taxon.
