There is some inconsistency in reports of exactly where this species is native; FSUS reports the Missouri Highlands and SC coastal plain populations as possibly exotic. POWO reports the Arizona populations as introduced. We mark all possibly-non-native populations as Expanded because all are relatively close to the native range. This species is also native to Mexico, but we have yet to build this portion of its map.
