Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species is primarily native to Mexico, and its range barely extends into southern California, and at the other end, to Guatemala; we have yet to build the portion of its range map in Mexico.

Description & Identification

This species is a sub to subshrub.

Habitat

Found in regions with a seasonally dry tropical climate.
