This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 3 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species is widely planted in gardens, and has been reported from the wild in the US but BONAP does not report it occurring anywhere in the US, we were not able to find any records in the US that seemed valid. However, it has established in the wild at several locations across Canada, including Newfoundland and British Columbia.
