(Unnamed) (Waltheria detonsa A.Gray)
This genus is subject to inconsistent treatment by different authors, possibly due to misidentification. Some authors lump this taxon in with uhaloa (Waltheria indica), but we separate them per most authorities including POWO, FNA, and BONAP.

This species is primarily native to Mexico, and its range only barely extends into southern Arizona; we have yet to build the portion of its range map in Mexico.
↑Habitat
Found in deserts and dry shrublands on sites with some topographic diversity and rocky soil. Habitats include canyons, exposed boulders, granitic slopes, and foothills.
