Anise Horsebalm (Collinsonia anisata Sims.)

Also known as Southern Horsebalm; also classified as Micheliella anisata (Sims) Briq.

Many authorities do not recognize this taxon as distinct, instead lumping it in either with richweed (Collinsonia canadensis) var. punctata, which FSUS notes is a misapplication of that name, or with blue ridge horsebalm (Collinsonia punctata).
