Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is widely native throughout Mexico; BONAP reports it as introduced in one county of Alabama, but we found no other sources listing it so we do not know whether or not that is a valid record. We have yet to build the portion of the map in Mexico.
