Sweetberry Honeysuckle (Lonicera caerulea L.)
BONAP has split this taxon up, merging one subspecies and two varieties into Lonicera cauriana, and one variety into Lonicera villosa var. villosa. POWO, however, considers Lonicera cauriana to be a synonym of Lonicera caerulea var. cauriana. For now, we have used POWO's scheme, which seems to mostly agree with the USDA although we are not sure of this.

This tentative map is based on our own research. It may have limited data on Canada and/or Mexico, and there is some subjectivity in our assignment of plants as introduced vs. expanded. Read more in this blog post.
Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
If this taxon is recognized as valid, it is also native to Europe and Asia, but in North America it is also native to southwestern Canada, although it has been introduced in Ontario. We have yet to build the portion of its range map in Canada.
