Baja Buckwheat (Eriogonum evanidum Reveal)
Also known as vanishing wild buckwheat; also classified as Eriogonum foliosum S. Watson.
POWO considers E. evanidum Reveal and E. foliosum S. Watson to be distinct species, whereas BONAP and Calflora report them as synonyms of the same species. We treat them as the same as we have found no evidence that they are distinct.

This tentative map is based on our own research. It may have limited data on Canada and/or Mexico, and there is some subjectivity in our assignment of plants as introduced vs. expanded. Read more in this blog post.
Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is also native to northwest Mexico; we have yet to build this portion of its range map.
