Notes

The scientific name Ligusticum tenuifolium has also been used by other authors to refer to two species native to Asia and Europe respectively, and not found in North America. As neither of these species are found in North America and the terms are outdated and not widely used, you are unlikely to encounter them but it is worth noting in case you do.
