Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This is a small, weedy plant that has been found on a few sites east of its native range, including in pastures and other agricultural land, and a mining site. We found no evidence that it has been cultivated or intentionally planted in modern times. We mark it expanded in the new portions of its range because it is spreading on its own and taking advantage of new habitat, but it remains rare and scattered east of its native range.
