Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is native to Mexico and has greatly expanded its range northward; we do not know the exact extent of its native range, but POWO and BONAP agree that it is native to Mexico but not the US. We have yet to build the portion of its map in Mexico.
