Habitat

This species is only known from the Desolation Canyon in Utah, along the Green River and its tributaries. It is found in seeps and moist sandy soil of the tertiary price river formation, in the narrow elevation range of 1300-1350m (4265-4429ft.) This area is remote and hard to access, and not currently threatened.
