Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

As in the US, in Canada this species is native to the West but has been introduced discontinuously in the East. It is also native to Mexico. We have yet to build the portions of its map in Canada and Mexico.
