Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species has also been introduced in Canada but we have yet to build this portion of its map. POWO shows a much more restricted range for this species in North America (NY State Only), and we have yet to reconcile these differences. All other sources we consulted had a range map more-or-less consistent with ours.
