This map is based on our research. We have checked its accuracy to Level 4 ecoregions. Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
Some sources report this species, native to the Old World, as introduced in Maryland. It was observed once, in chrome ore piles in the Canton neighborhood of Baltimore, in 1964, and is presumed not to have persisted. FSUS does not even list it.
