Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species is native to southern Mexico; we mark it Introduced where it occurs in the US because these new populations are far from the native range, separated by long distances. We have yet to build the portion of its map in Mexico.
