Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is also native to Mexico, but we have yet to build this portion of its map. BONAP and FSUS both show this species as native to Texas, but POWO does not, showing it only native to Mexico southward. We defer to BONAP and FSUS as they tend to be more accurate and up-to-date with respect to range, but note that there may be some difference in taxonomic treatment that we overlooked.
