Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species is native to southern Mexico and southward, and has expanded its range north in Mexico, but its range in the US is discontiguous and as such we mark it Introduced; we have yet to build the portion of its map in Mexico.
