Prairie Plantain (Plantago elongata Pursh)

This species is native to the western to central US and Canada, into northwest Mexico. We found major discrepancies in this species' range as reported by BONAP and other sources. BONAP reports this species as present in a number of eastern states but we have been unable to verify these records. As such we have held off on building this species' map for the time being.
