Cascade-Saxifrage (Cascadia nuttallii (Small) A.M.Johnson)
Also known as nuttall's saxifrage; also classified as Saxifraga nuttallii Small.
↑Notes
We prefer the common name "Cascade-Saxifrage" to "Nuttall's saxifrage" both because we prefer descriptive terms to honorifics, the descriptor is accurate (this species is indeed found in the Cascades, although it also appears in mountains to the west as well), and the hyphenation connotes that this species is somehow different from a "normal" saxifrage, i.e. that it has been reclassified into its own genus, not the Saxifraga genus of true saxifrages.
