Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is native to Mexico but introduced at an isolated part of Texas. We have not yet built the Mexican portion of its range. We mark the Texas population as introduced because it likely originated from gardening use, and is separated from the native range by a relatively long distance.
