Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species, which is widely cultivated in gardens, occasionally escapes and establishes in the wild. In most places, it has been ephemeral and has not persisted. It is also introduced in Canada; we have yet to build that portion of its map.
