Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
We marked the Virginia population as introduced because it likely originated as garden escapes, is separated from the rest of the range by a relatively large distance, and we have not seen evidence that this species is expanding around the borders of its native range.
