Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.

This species is not intentionally planted, and is often treated as a weed and intentionally controlled. In spite of this it has spread into new areas, establishing on a few sites slightly north of its native range, which we mark as expanded.
