Although this plant occurs somewhere in each of these regions, it may only occur in a small part of some or all of them.
This species is sometimes planted, and can escape cultivation. We mark the Texas populations as expanded because they are extensive, connected, and contiguous with its native range, but the South Carolina population introduced because it is isolated. It could probably be considered expanded as well, as it is not that far from the native range.
